The concept behind the Shock Transfer System is simple. If you hold up a piece of paper in the air and you can easily puncture it. Place that paper against a concrete wall and it becomes much more difficult to puncture. The Shock Transfer System works in the same fashion.
By reducing and transferring the V2 gearbox impact movement, the V2 gearbox has little room to start cracking. The impact energy from the piston transfers to the gearbox, then to the STS, and finally into the upper receiver and barrel assembly of your airsoft electric gun (AEG) providing much more solid mass to dampen resonance and vibration.
